A Palm Beach DSA member received the following message from Compass Community,  a local organization that provides for support services for the LBGTQ+ community. We’re passing it along to our membership.

Talking Points (Feel free to copy/paste or personalize!):
● Community-Based Agencies are on the front lines supporting our most vulnerable residents—youth, families, and individuals in crisis.
● Investing in these agencies is cost-effective: prevention and community care reduce the need for emergency services, hospital visits, and incarceration.
● These programs provide culturally competent and locally informed services that government agencies can’t always replicate.
● Many agencies rely on county funding to operate and serve thousands of Palm Beach County residents each year.
● Without this funding, gaps in services will grow—leaving real people without the support they need to survive and thrive.
